Do You Understand The Three Major Misconceptions in Inspecting The Quality Of Wire Cutters?

Based on years of experience in the production and sales of pliers and extensive contact with distributors and users, it has been found that there are misconceptions about the quality of steel wire pliers. To summarize, there are three points. Come and take a look.
1. There should be no gaps at the top of the wire pliers mouth
Holding a pair of pliers in their hand, many people first check if there is a gap at the top of the pliers. They believe that what is not sewn is genuine, and what is sewn is faulty. In fact, there should be a gap of 0.4mm-06mm at the top of the pliers. Because the cutting edge of the pliers will have some wear after a period of shearing use, the gap at the top of the pliers will naturally close and disappear. If there is no gap at the beginning of the pliers, the gap of the cutting edge will become larger and larger after a period of use. The effectiveness and lifespan of pliers will be greatly reduced. We can take a look at the steel wire pliers of Wanzhuo Hardware, whose top seam of the pliers mouth is 0.8mm (except for water goods).

2. Edge gap of wire pliers
After reading the pliers, everyone always takes a look at the area with light to see if there are any gaps in the blade. This is correct, of course, the blade should not have any gaps, but few people will open the pliers afterwards to see if the left and right blades are on the same centerline from the pliers. This is very important. If the left and right edges are not on the same centerline, but are interlocked and engaged, cutting will be very laborious, and the pressure borne by the edges will also increase exponentially. Not only will cutting be laborious, but the pliers will quickly break down. In addition, factors that affect shearing include hardness, flexibility, and the thickness of the cutting edge. Generally speaking, a blade tip thickness of 0.2mm is relatively moderate. Thicker ones can be very labor-intensive, while thinner ones are not durable.

3. Color of the handle of the wire pliers
Let's take a look at the handle of the pliers again. There are two or more colorful handles that are loved by everyone. The combination of multiple colors requires the addition of various chemical materials to stabilize the color. Long term contact with hands is detrimental to health. Several colors require injection molding several times, and the temperature, time, pressure, speed, and adhesion of the two materials during injection molding can all affect the stability of the combination of the two colors of the handle. Some individual handles will crack at the junction of the two colors. I personally believe that single color one-time injection molding handles are more environmentally friendly and safe to promote.
